Spring Couture 2013: RECAP

Dear Audiences

My most favourite fashion time of the year definitely has to be the Haute Couture weeks. In the past, their main purposes may be just to showcase the power of creations and to preserve the craftsmanship of high-quality costume-making.

But, as more and more people are able to afford the shockingly sky-high prices of the couture pieces, the shows have finally aligned the investments with the profit.

According to Karl Lagerfeld, the master to not only Chanel but the whole fashion world, "We have more couture clients now than we did 20 years ago. Many of the rich people of the past are poor compared to the rich people of today, I'm sorry,"

Never have to say sorry Uncle Karl, I am delighted to hear that the couture business is able to be kept running on. No tragedy like Christian Lacroix should happen at any costs.

Much controversy is circulated about Monsieur Lagerfeld's support on same-sex marriage.

Actually, it needs no prediction whatsoever to foresee the trend of these messy-yet-elegant hairpieces. Full of laces, feathers, sequins, and all those beautiful materials.

Chanel is Chanel; no matter what comes out under her name, it's already labeled the 'trend' (think: hula hoop bag).

At Valentino's shows, they always create best hairstyle; they're feminine and can be pulled off by almost everybody. Their up-dos from every season are seen from the red carpet to daily wear.

ขอบอกว่าเข้าใจคำว่า "สวยแทบตาย" เลยว่าเป็นยังไง!

With silvery hairs, these ladies do not have a slight sight of arriving from the Star Wars era, but rather from Marie Antoinette's. From pastels to dark and then back to vivid colors, the member who recently joined the couture club has entirely succeeded in rocking my world, as he always has and always will.
