Lady Gaga for Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair chose the pop sensation, Lady Gaga, to be the cover of the September issue.

I love the cover. I love her hair and the post! One of my favorite magazine covers ever!

Check it out at any book stands :)

Material Girl Ad is finally OUT!

Material Girl is undoubtedly in the spotlight since the ones in charge are Madonna and Lourdes Leon the daughter. And to top that up, they chose Little J Taylor Momsen to be the first-ever presenter.

I would say Momsen suits the punk-rock style and image of the brand well, very well.

Personally, I don't adore Madonna's fashion taste, but I admire that she's willing to take any  risk and doesn't care to commit fashion crime. It's confident she has, and she passes it to her teenage daughter.

Night Owl!

Seems like fashion obsession is in DNA. Daisy Lowe, the British model and daughter to Gavin Roosdale, does an online collection for Morgan, called 'Night Owl'. She also chooses everything for the ad campaign. Very impressive huh? But from as far as I've seen the clothes don't actually catch my eyes, just yet.

Well, hopefully, her line could be at least up to the standard of her step-momma, Gwen Stefani's LAMB.

Most Anticipated Fashion Brand of 2010!

Only labeling as Madonna's fashion line would create great buzz, but with Little J as the face of the brand, I couldn't imagine more.
Material Girl would be launched only at Macy all over the States (and macy.com).

( By the way, Taylor looks like Xtina here. )

New Baby Doll Face Model.

After Gemma Ward quits modeling, I'm hardly into the models. Nimue Smit may not be genuinely 'NEW FACE' because she has been in business since 2008, but anyway, she's new to me. Her face is doll-like and is gemma's alien-doll style. Very unique and really cute.

This '92-born girl is very young but has worked with several huge brands, Topshop, Armani, Prada, Burberry, Valentino, Anna Sui, you name it. She's certainly got a longgg way to go. This Dutch model with the height of 179 cm is currently ranked at 22nd of the World's model according to Models.com

The best thing about her is that she could go for any looks. Young and fresh or mature and classy. This is the most important thing the model should have.

Hello Kitty is terribly ugly?

This is the worst fashion faux pas!  I love Hello Kitty, I really do, but this uncreative coat makes me feel disgusted by the Japanese cat.   Someone calls fashion police!

Jean Paul Gaultier Fall Couture 2010: Insanely Creative.

Monsieur Gaultier's creative craziness always impresses me to the core. Most of his pieces are not meant to wear in real life, but who cares? They're art. Fabric artworks on skinny women.

However, this collection seems to be less abstract, more possibility that someone would wear them to a supermarket or walking in the park without being suspected as Lady Gaga.

Elie Saab Fall Couture 2010: TO DIE FOR!

This is the real couture show! Full of glamorous and sparkling materials! My heart's beating so fast viewing the collection. This is TO DIE FOR!!!
I might willing to trade my soul to own one of the dresses. (HA!) No, seriously, this is the perfect brand when it comes to stunning gowns, and when it comes to the circumstances that you want to be shinning under the light.

If I were in one of the gowns, I would feel like a queen. Get me one! I want to be a queen now!

( This one remains me of Halle Berry's Oscar dress which got the brand recognized. )

OK. It's so hard to choose which of the pictures to post. So visit Style.com for a complete one.

Valentino Fall Couture 2010: The Marvallous Dolly Girly Show.

"Valley of the baby dolls. Couture for the Twilight generation at Valentino." - Style.com

I think Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli's engines are apparently hot. The first collections after became the brand designers did not keep up with the level expected from the house of Valentino.

However, this collection is brilliant! Seriously.
Full of bows and organza in girly creamy dreamy colors. Nothing I could expect more from the historic fashion house.

(Oh. Not to forget the signature red.)

(This is to die for! Seriously cute!)

There are too much pictures to post. So visit Style.com to view the complete collection.

Chanel Fall Couture 2010 : Marvellous. Genius. Superb.

Chanel's Couture collection has a very rare characteristic. There's no fluffy tutu skirt or lots of sparkling ornaments, but apparently, they feel grand, classy, exquisite, and clearly 'couture'.

From this collection, many dresses have me think that the embroidery is inspired from 'Paris-Moscow' and 'Paris-Shanghai' collections.
Although, there are not much pattern of dresses, the collection is brilliant! Karl Lagerfeld is obviously a genius!

I love how he put everything creative that could every think of into each idea.

And, without unexpectation, Baptiste Giabiconi walked the finale, declared the real Karl-made Chanel show.

Gossip Girl from Paris with love.

O my gosh! I'm too excited for the upcoming season of my all time favorite TV series, Gossip Girl, which moves the location to PARIS! The capital city of the fashion world, obviously this suits the fashionable show well.
Well, I know I'm sooo behind! But, unfortunately, I havn't started Season 3, yet. I knowwww. Don't roll your eyes. The time is coming!!!

Warning: For anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled. Please don't scroll down :)

(I love Serena's pants here!)

The Couture is HERE!

Couture shows are my most looking forward collections of the entire year. Ready-to-wears are nice, Resort is great, but nothing at all is better than pieces of art which some couldn't be worn in real life.
Couture collections are the way of expressing designers' endless creativity.

Christian Dior

Overall, I hate to say this.. but this is my least favorite Dior Couture collection. Maybe it's too floral in a not-so-my-style way.

Alexis Mabille

Love the collection! Especially the last dress!

Bouchra Jarrar

Last but not least is the new brand debuted at Paris 2010 Fall Couture fashion week.
Well, it's not that couture, but very nice. They're classic and hold some details so it's not too plain.
