Fall Ready-to-Wear 2014: "ROCHAS, the limelight."

Marco Zanini's departure for the revival of Schiaparelli does put the spotlight on the house of Rochas. All the fashion academia would obtain knowledge in respect of the talented Elsa Schiaparelli; but for those who are not into Fashion History 101, the brief definition would be she is the greatest rival of Coco Chanel whose creation appeared on iconic figures such as Duchess of Windsor.

For someone to be trusted on the reincarnation of such legendary name would have to be very talented, obviously, and Zanini has been in charge of Rochas for over five years - mirroring the fact that Rochas has seen impeccable productions and supervision over 10 seasons straight.

It does come in naturally that I, whom had not been previously taken much by, began to notice and looked forward to appreciate the creation made under the roof.

Alessandro Dell'Acqua, from No.21, was replaced as creative director and he does not disappoint me. The bejeweled gloves are weaponry, along with the use of fabric; simplicity from afar and killing details in close-up. It will serve for no exaggeration to say that every items put together for the collection are massively significant and alone would be a4 to-die-for statement.
