R's Of The Moment: "Lana Del Rey, Tropico."

The just released short film from the pretty face with mourning voice, Lana Del Rey, called 'Tropico', consisted of three songs and impressive quotes in between.

You may or you may not know how religious Del Rey is. I personally don't know for a fact whether she is a strict Christian, or she just carries the love in conveying God and Jesus within her words and rythme.

Watch how Lana Del Rey interprets the idea of the Garden of Eden.
See how she translates the virtuous messages written in the Bible.
Witness her Adam and Eve escape from the garden of God, then, of Monsters.
Allow yourself to gain visual pleasure through beautifully edits and filters.

I really hope you enjoy.

Once Upon A Time... by Karl Lagerfeld.

Dear Audiences

In these past few days, the hype has been all about The Met Ball "Punk: Chaos to Couture" of which sparked my excitement for this event like never before - one reason may be because my love for Tisci. I personally think this year's fashion and the variety of figures attended very much impressed me.

But, it is not what I am going to be posting about.

My current hype right now is the latest short film directed by the most powerful figure and genius of the era, Karl Lagerfeld.

"Once Upon A Time..." sets in the 1913 during the first days of the House of Chanel. It's starred the British beauty who has just got married in the most adorable and low-key dress made for her by Uncle Karl himself, Keira Knightley.

I love all the looks featured in the film, even though, many characters appeared on screen just walking without any speaking line or interaction.

Love Lindsay Wixton!

MY FAVOURITE LOOK!!!!!

The last look is my most favourite! Obsessed with the gothic aura! LOVE!

Like the detail on Boy's shirt collar.

Well, personally, I think this is the most film-like among many produced by Monsieur Lagerfeld so far. I adore the fact that it is in black&white, very very classic.

Be those among the first! It's just premiered today!

And be anticipated for the cruise collection to be shown to the world in Singapore tomorrow!

Keep up with me so I'm sure to bring you the recap and review!

Gucci Presents: "THE DIRECTOR"

Dear Audiences

It has been an off-radar kind of days for the House of GUCCI in the post-Tom Ford years. It was said to be the golden era during his reign. But, change is always consistent.

Today, GUCCI is back again with the designer to whom I really admire and am confident that she will be the lady-knight bringing the brand back to the height it's used to be - she is 'Frida Gianni'.

This amazing designer had me gone crazy over her creations in these past fashion seasons, especially the latest ones for Fall Ready To Wear 2013. Compare to other designers, she is noticeably low profile, but it wouldn't be anymore!

With the documentary proudly presented by GUCCI, "The Director", which associates the famous with many talents James Franco. Frida Gianni will not go unnoticed, ever again.

Fall Ready-To-Wear 2013: Sydney Fashion Week Recap.

Dear Audiences

Strange but true.
It's happened to me that when I'm attracted to some fashion figures, the whole fashion scene of that particular nation is started to be attractive to me too.

In this case is Australia.
I have huge style crush on Christine Centenera of Vogue Australia. I had seen her through street style photographs for many fashion seasons before I knew her name.

And, it is quite interesting how so many Aussie fashion brands worth to be obsessed over.
Dion Lee, of which I discovered through Instagram, is one of my current favorites right now. The pieces are available on Net-A-Porter, in case you might want to check them out.

Well. Come back to our agenda today. It's Sydney fashion week! Let's see my selective recap for you guys. (note: it's actually my first time exploring Australia's fashion scene as well)

Alice McCall

I specially love the structure of the clothes, designs, and the prints! Love love love! This collection inspires me to do this recap because I couldn't resist the urge to share these beautiful pieces.

Alex Perry

Thigh boots are currently the it-items for several seasons, and now that the world has summer as well, here comes the thigh-length gladiator heels. They are so sophisticated. I do love!
I love how they're well-styled with the clothes in this collection which could otherwise have a possibility in mix&match failure. Also, I love the use of laces, however, some pieces remain me a little of Victoria Beckham's, no?

Romance Was Born

Nothing to say. Please just view the collection. It's the freakish-est collection ever!

Karla Spetic

Very much in love! For me, this collection captures the spirits of Aussie fashion from what I've observed - the see-through materials used with skirts and lots-of-skin-revealing pieces of clothes, along with the use of black, white, and vivid colours.
Highly recommended to surf through, you shouldn't regret.

Suboo

Last but not least, this collection is again carrying all the Aussie-fashion spirits.
Notice these creative designs of skirts and shorts? They're originally come from this continent.
I do love the designs and colour palette. But, what I love the most is the print! It's so beautiful mimicking how the lights shade on crystal glass creating rainbow in greyish shade. So stunning!
