Hyoni Kang.

Seems like not only in music business that Korean Fever overcomes, but it's moving slowly into the fashion world as well.

Hyoni Kang, seems to get a long way to go. Her latest work is to present the whole Zero + Maria Cornejo's Resort 2011 collection.
Her career is surely in the boosting, the Korean model has got chosen by several big brands to walk down the runways since last fashion season. She is the only Asain in the latest DKNY campaign.


The 178 cm girl with pretty smile won the 2008 Ford Models Supermodel of the World contest, and is the first East Asian to do so.

As Asian, I am proud to see her coming a long way and got a bright future ahead. She could one day become like Liu Wen, Dual Kim, or Hye Park.
Let us watch Hyoni's future together and support her:)

Burberry Prorsum Resort 2011.

I always understand that Resort collection is meant to be a getting-away kind of clothes (which most of the time the destination is the beach)... maybe I had been wrong.
Or, maybe resort for English is almost winter, so the Burberry Prorsum's Resort collection is a mini-Fall/Winter ready-to-wear show.
There are lots of coats and winter clothings.

YSL Resort 2011.

Yves Saint Laurent's Resort collection has a great portion of dark and cheerful colors. The 25-dresses-show is beautiful, even though not that impressive.
The wavy and flatter designs give both the feeling of the wind blowing and feminine at the same time.

Baptiste Giabiconi.

You may wonder why it's this guy again I am going to talk about here in my blog. I just did the research about him (well, not exactly it's just the googling. hehe), and found a very interesting fact.

First of all, as I mentioned earlier that this 21-year-old guy is currently the No.1 male model of the world, according to Models.com. His story is extremely interesting and remarkable, because it's been 8 months since his debut in the fashion world that he's named the NO.1 MALE MODEL, 8 MONTHS BABY, you read it correctly.
Moreover, with the power of only one man who is the most influential one indeed that pushes him to the top. Approximately 99 percent of his pieces are all done by this one and only, the great designer and photographer, Karl Lagerfeld.

Giabiconi kicked off his model career by walking the runway of Chanel in late 2008, and since then he has seemed to be under Monsieur Lagerfeld's wings.

Mr. Chanel also referred him as “a boy version of Gisele Bündchen: Skinny, skinny but with an athletic body — good for clothes and great with no clothes.”
And, when Naomi Campbell met Baptiste in Moscow in 2009, she told him, “It’s not right: We all have defects. You have none.”
